Visit to the Uganda Museum

Back From the Museum

It goes without saying that our children enjoyed our trip to the museum!

The parents we managed to talk to before the visit assured us that the waiting had become 'painful' - with children reminding them at every opportunity that the visit was coming up soon!

The days of the week had never been thus memorized!

The day finally came and I guess we were not disappointed.  It made me realize quite a lot of things we should know about our country but don't - lots of assumptions we make but never quite think twice about checking them out.

Even for us as teachers - we realized that we had only given a 'scratch' of information about what the children would expect, compared to what we actually saw!

I will be posting pictures - they will probably say a lot more than I could ever say.

Geared Up For the Museum Visit!

Only 6 days to go …

All our Pre-Schools and the Elementary School will be visiting the Uganda National Museum at Kitante, on Wednesday, July 10th, 2013.

This time, with the exception of our Bukoto branch and the Elementary, all the other children will be dropped at their respective branches by 7.30am (latest) so we can have an early start.

Bukoto and Kitante parents will drop the children at the KinderKare Elementary School in Kitante.

The children are really counting the days!
